Early age education can be harmful for child development

In the metro cities now the mind sets of parents has changed about the education for their children. About 10 years ago from now the parents use to give freedom to their children in their early age. They wait for 4-5 yrs of age for their child and then send them in nursery or play schools. But now today the trend has been changed, after the age of 18-20 month the parents of child getting tensed for their admission.

Early childhood' is usually defined as before the age of normal schooling.Research on brain development attests to the importance of key mental, physical and social capabilities. If these fundamental capabilities are not well established from the start, and especially if neurological damage occurs, a child's learning potential could be adversely affected. As such, education in early childhood must be avoided for the sake of development of child.

The terms preschool and kindergarten emphasize education around the ages of 4–6 years. The terms "early childhood learning," "early care," and "early education" are comparable with early childhood education. If a young child doesn't receive sufficient nurturing, nutrition, parental/caregiver interaction, and stimulus during this crucial period, the child may be left with a developmental deficit that hampers his or her success in their studies. So, rather then focusing on education parents should take care of their child in the age of 1-3 and above atleast.

Our education especially CBSE board schools provide a platform & a syllabus to child’s where they can get exposure to develop their brain accordingly after nursery admissions.

Why Management Quota Scheme in Nursery Admission

These days in school admissions, management quota system is available. It was a trend earlier that the admission of the child was on the basis of merit and the potential of the child. But presently, if a child does not get admission in a school, then he/she can get admission on the basis of management quota scheme. As per this scheme, the parents have to give some donation. After receiving the donation, the school grants admission to the child. At present, management quota scheme is applicable in nursery admission. Earlier the system was there in higher education. But the present trend is that Management Quota Scheme is applicable in nursery admission as well.
Efforts need to be made to implement this scheme and to complement with other measures. These measures will make the scheme more effective. Higher education has now been privatized. First the parents have to go through a long selection procedure. After that if the child does not get admission, then the parents have to pay a donation of Rs. 50,000 to 5 lakhs. Paying this amount of donation is very difficult for most parents.
The Management Quota Scheme has been adopted by almost all private schools in Delhi and other metro cities. The management quota scheme is also applicable when certain seats are reserved for the board members’ children (director, founder, staff etc). Earlier it was not there but now management quota scheme is applicable in nursery admission.

School admission pros and cons if online

Nowadays the facility of Online School Admission is available and it is quite popular. However online admission system has some advantages and some disadvantages. The advantage of online admission system is that you don’t have to stand in long queues to buy admission forms. Now, you don’t have to make photocopies of your report card and get them attested. When both the parents are working, the online admission system simplifies the things for the parents. Parents don’t have to take leaves for managing the admission process of the child. They can manage the admission process online only.

Online admission system also has many disadvantages. One disadvantage is that people from small town will might not be aware of the availability of this facility. When the internet connection is slow, then it can hamper the online selling of forms. Whenever the session is out, it can create a problem. Sometimes it might happen that you have deposited the money but it has not reached the school account.

In the online school admission process, there is the fear of online frauds. Some parents may not fully trust the online admission system. Some parents might not be comfortable in giving account details. Parents might not be comfortable in submitting the documents online. The documents though attached can be misused by the others. If someone enters the wrong account number, then the payments can go to the wrong account number by a small mistake. So the online admission has both pros and cons as mentioned above.
